MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
It feels as though we are living during a time when confusion and anxiety are at an all-time high. Despite our sense of connectivity, it seems that individuals and families are more isolated than ever before. I truly believe that we all need and desire a village — a network of support and care to help us when needed. I believe that every person desires to be heard, seen, and understood. I have seen that healing can begin when people are given space to explore their authentic selves without judgement. As an art therapist, I like to bring creativity and play into the therapeutic process. In my experience, creative processes, combined with therapeutic techniques, have the potential to act as a powerful conduit and to provide life-changing results. I rely on my intuition and our therapeutic relationship to provide reflections that allow opportunities for personal insights that can move us towards progress. |
